• Demo data install for Chariton not working

    Hello,

    I have installed Chariton and all the required plugins and activated all the plugins.

    However, when I try to install the demo data I get the following message:

    [ERROR] Failed to import ”
    sample_products.csv ” (Media)

    The full log file is here:

    Looking at the demo data XML file I can see that the install expects to find an XML file at this location:

    https://themes.themeregion.com/chariton/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/sample_products.csv

    But if I go that location manually I get a 404. Perhaps this is why the demo data install is not working?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi there,

    Sorry that you’re having issue. By the way after the demo import completes did you check if every content is loading properly or not. I should remind you that the demo data won’t be able to import the charity posts as it was quite an issue with the development also importing the content otherwise the homepage or other pages, menus etc imports perfectly. Can you please check whether all the pages & products are imported or not. If not please let me know so that I can help you further.
